The digital display has been purchased, installed and the content management system is up and running. The next question is: what should you actually show on it?
Many people think of a digital display primarily as a piece of equipment, when in reality it can be much more. It is a company’s own media channel, reaching customers in exactly the right place and at the right time.
Good content is based on three things:
- Where is the display located?
- Who is looking at it?
- What do you want to achieve?
A display at the entrance, one next to the checkout and one in a waiting area can serve completely different purposes. That is why all displays do not need to – and often should not – show the same content.
